Stark is in fact a poor hitter. Congrats. We all know he is.

What he brings is being a damn good catcher. They don’t grow on trees. Those back picks, framing jobs, and general familiarity with the pitchers is more valuable in a catcher than their hitting ability. That’s why he plays, and that’s why no one complains about it that’s been here all year.

Noone offended me. This is a bunch of young men playing a kids game. Noone in here is offending me I can assure you. The vitriol is probably more directed at the coaches for having Cal swing freely in front of CMO than Stark himself. That wasn't smart at a critical part of the game
