This reminds me of when Ziegler tried to start early in his career and later went back to being the 6th man. He was prone to sloppy play as a starter but tended to create scoring runs while coming off the bench.

Most assists per game, tying his best points per game and basically the same steals per game.

His 3PT% is the only area he’s really down in, playing with 4 new guys is to blame for the uptick in turnovers. Should settle down as the year continues.

I will say while his assist numbers are insane he has turned the ball over more...at least it seems. He still impacts the game in a huge way for us though.

Scratching my head why Milc shy’d away from the 3 - need him to be scoring 12-15 pts per game.

Lanier I think is drawing the best defender from the opponent.

I'm all for seeing more Stone if Igor isn't going to try and score any.

We need more Stone even if Igor is playing well. We only have 8 guys to rely on.

I like Dubai’s offensive game but I don’t really disagree.

Play them together more often. When Lanier is off we need offense and Dubar gives us a threat based off his 3 years at Hofstra.

I wonder if they would even consider at times playing Milicic at the 3, Dubar at 4 and either Okpara/Phillips at the 5 at times. That would be a big lineup and allow us to post Igor against a smaller player. Igor is a skilled player and probably could handle it.

Stone needs more minutes period, yes, but when he gets more minutes it means less minutes for someone else. Igor didn't play much down the stretch in this game and with good reason. Stone ended up with 12 points to Igors 7. I really want Igor to try to start scoring more though. I think he can if he'll get aggressive and take it to the rim. But he's not looking to score right now.

Almost every team will play a defense to stop Lanier, first and foremost. That's why it's encouraging to see Dubar step up offensively. He can be high quality depth we need.

He should take a couple minutes here and there from everyone but ZZ and Lanier on top of his normal load. The roster is versatile enough imo that he can fill in for any frontcourt player

He handles the ball the entire game. He's gonna have some turnovers. He also makes high risk high reward plays like the lob for example. It leads to a few turnovers but leads to enough scores that it's a plus play.

Play of the game was a Barnes' time out with 90 seconds left, calm the team down, hydrate, put in a play, set inbounds plays, get the foul shooters in the game, set a defense to stop fouling late in the shot clock, get the foul shooters in the game. Team scored every possession/made foul shots as the clock wound down, Texas folded down 4 with 5 ticks left.

Shockingly, it was Dubar that played with the confidence and swagger on the road that I expected to see from Lanier. Chaz has looked rattled these past 2 games, which has caused him to not only miss shots but also make some poor decisions and errant passes. It’s just compounding on itself.

Yeah, it’s up. But he’s forcing the drive a bit more with his 3 shooting being bad I think.
