Anyone catch SEC Network (Rally Cap)discuss UT and Coach V? I can’t recall the lead host’s name but he said there is always something involving TN, referring to the bat issue. The guy beside him said it was the media “blowing things out of proportion.”
Something tells me Coach V doesn’t give a crap what others think.

Well only a few more weeks of the season so I don't think it matters too much. I think you use him 1 to 2 innings and if another situation like to arises then you roll with him for multiple innings like today.

I doubt the kid was trying to bounce his bat into the dugout. I think this was uncalled for. Nothing wrong with being passionate and a bit hot headed, but I think he should have taken a pass on tossing the bat back at them.

Lol. Exactly! We certainly did our fair share of partying back in my days on the Hill but I can’t ever imagine us saying, “Hey, you know what would be a great idea…” and that leading to anything involving guy butts. We were pretty effective drinking the normal way so we didn’t need the extra 90%.

Solid win today against an Auburn team that played us as well or better than just about anybody. Beam got touched up in the 5th and 6th innings because a lot of his pitches were up in the zone--waist high. Still, a good day of pitching. Joyce was...fierce.
