@mad4vols ️️Post #6k!!! Woo we did it!!!
I will only see about 3,000 of those 7,000. I'm gonna start blocking some drive-bys. I can't handle another one like Saturday. I almost took a hiatus but love the regulars too much.
Good luck on Friday!I lurk in this forum daily but rarely post. I hope it's OK if I brag a bit on a future Vol. My nephew, Ethan, will be a freshman engineering student at UT in August. Right now, he's wrapping up his senior season of baseball - the sport he's loved since he was old enough to hold a bat. He's one of the countless kids who's not going to play at the next level. But, last night, in his team's final regular-season conference game against Dobyns-Bennett, he made it count with an incredible double-play effort in right field. So proud of this kid - and all the kids out there who play for the love of the game.

Congrats to you and your son. Sounds like he fired a laser from RF to nail the guy at home! A memory that will be cherished forever.I lurk in this forum daily but rarely post. That is a tough conference. I know most of the kids on the Crockett team, son is HC for basketball. Maybe you talk nephew into seeing about being a manager for baseball. Would keep him in the game he loves.I lurk in this forum daily but rarely post. interesting to see other media's (Ole Miss) take, a lot of what they said is true however they spin it the way they want to and of course our media will spin it the other way......we may need the No Spin Zone on here.....
yep, I agree with you, he did toss it........maybe a tad too far but he tossed it. Saying he slung it is spinning it the wrong way, makes it seem like CTV sidewinded it across the field like a frisbee.Their take is he "slung it at the Auburn players." My take is he tossed the bat back to them with an underhanded throw that was very accurate.
