The Official #1 Tennessee vs Alabama A&M Tuesday Game Thread (6PM EST SEC Network +)

One of the reasons I post games of interest from Wednesday in the Tuesday game thread is because we know that thread will slide down the board (in this case Thursday) over the weekend.

Based on the other forums, the general discussion threads, don’t get pinned, but they keep going. I am open to any and all ideas.
I’m sure you and OT will preserve what makes this forum special while making it even better.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – No. 1/1 Tennessee caps its five-game homestand on Tuesday evening against Alabama A&M at 6 p.m. inside Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The Vols are coming off their 12th straight weekend series win after taking two of three games from No. 17/19 Auburn over the weekend.

BROADCAST INFO
Tuesday's game will be streamed live on SEC Network+ and the ESPN app with Andy Brock (PxP) calling the action. The online broadcasts can be accessed on any mobile device through WatchESPN. WatchESPN can be accessed through the ESPN App, or online at espn.com/watch.

SERIES HISTORY
Overall: Tennessee leads, 1-0
In Knoxville: Tennessee leads, 1-0
In Huntsville: 0-0
Neutral Sites: 0-0
Last Meeting: W, 9-1 (March 15, 2011 in Knoxville)

Tuesday will be just the second all-time meeting between the Vols and Bulldogs. Tennessee won the only previous meeting by a score of 9-1 back in 2011.

NOTABLE
Fastest to 40
With a win over Auburn in Sunday's rubber game, Tennessee became the first team in the country to reach the 40-win mark this season, doing so in just 44 games. The Vols are just the second SEC team to record 40 wins in 44 games since the league expanded in 1992. South Carolina in 2000 was the only other team to accomplish the feat in that span.

The Century Mark
The Big Orange blasted six home runs last Friday to reach the century mark for the season. After hitting three more homers on Saturday and Sunday, UT enters Tuesday's contest with a NCAA-leading 103 long balls this season, eight more than second-place Old Dominion (95) and 17 more than third-place Texas (86). The Vols need just five more home runs to break the current single-season program record of 107 set back in 1998.

The Volunteer Fireman
Redshirt junior flamethrower Ben Joyce put on a show in his four scoreless innings of relief on Sunday against Auburn.

According to Tennessee's YakkerTech data tracking system, the Knoxville native threw 28 pitches that were clocked at 103 mph or faster. Of those 28 pitches, 15 were 104 mph or faster and three were 105 mph or faster. His fastest pitch of the day was clocked at 105.5 mph, which is the fastest pitch in the history of college baseball and would be the second-fastest recorded pitch in Major League Baseball, just 0.3 mph behind Aroldis Chapman, who threw 105.8 mph pitch as a Cincinnati Red against the San Diego Padres on Sept. 24, 2010.

It’s really not bad at all, I’m sure I’ll switch it up after a while. Yuengling in general has some damn good beer.

At one point they only sold in Pa. I would drive there just for beer. It 1.5 hrs round trip but worth it. Pa had wierd rules about only being able to buy from a distributor which was a beer store. I would turn a few heads buying the maximum of 5 cases as soon as they opened at 9am.

I can vouch for the weird rules part.
