The Official #1 Tennessee vs Alabama A&M Tuesday Game Thread (6PM EST SEC Network +)

Nobody pitches very well compared to us lol. They have also struck out only 9 less batters than our guys have. They have an average SEC staff as a whole but everyone just assumes this will be a cakewalk. All I am saying is that no team in the SEC can be overlooked.

I hear ya. I think we go 2-1 despite the lopsided numbers in our favor. Another guy might hit a 3 run homer against us in the 9th. You just never know.

I think the only problem is we wouldn’t be able to play a game on Sunday if the series were to start on Thursday. Someone said you only have 3 days to play 3 games. So if the series starts on Thursday it would have to end on Saturday.

In theory, weather permitting, perhaps playing a double header on Thursday is also an option. Like LNS, KPP has turf, so games can still be played on Saturday even if it rains.

A double header would require a 2 pm start at latest for the first game. I think Tony said they would bus up there in the morning. So that schedule would be very tight. Maybe doable.

Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day. I want to play these games and get the W's.
Me too. I remember Vanderbilt having a game rained out on a Sunday last year and we ultimately won the East by .5 game. I’m sure they were salty they didn’t tie and get the #2 seed in the SECT.

Yeah, because even though it was Vandy and I hate to say this, what happened to them there was just not fair. But I'll take it!! :p
