Wow. I apparently missed one hell of a game. Had to get my sister married tonight, but I can’t believe what I missed!! GO FREAKING VOLS! Can’t wait to fire up the replay now that I’m back home. LETS GOOOOOO!

It was a fantastic game! Like a boxing match. Punch - counterpunch.

Is it just me or do I see baseball in general just having a revival!! Everybody is watching this tournament! Ppl that have never had an interest in baseball are now tuning in.
Is Tennessee baseball the reason behind this huge increase in popularity in the sport!! I think so!!

So much offense everywhere. I think that is really helping.

Game pace is also refreshing, compared to MLB.

We just did the hardest and most important part of getting to the CWS. We won back to back games to open the regional. Now a team is going to have to beat us twice (regionals and super regionals). We can focus on just one team for a couple of games. I like that setup for the Vols.

Announcer in the Oklahoma St regional last night thought he had a breaking news story implicating Evan Russell and our entire team. Turns out he fell for an Arkansas twitter troll. He issued a lawyer-written apology on air today. The Russells seem ready to move on, so we should take their lead.

Perhaps it's just me, but I enjoy these type of competitive games over blowouts. Is it stressful? Sure is. I also find it fascinating, because games like these are like chess matches. It's neat to watch the players and coaches make moves. Elite, competitive baseball.

I actually think the potential super regional matchup of ND/Georgia Southern is easier than Campbell/GT based purely on the fact that the teams in our regional hit the long ball. The two other remaining teams in our regional have combined to hit 100 more HRs compared to ND/Georgia Southern.
