Not his best game. I love the guy and wasn’t trying to disrespect him. With our deficiencies in the front court, really need more production driving to the rim or short range jumpers. Mashack is capable and we’ll need it.

True. I’m not in panic mode or anything. I have few qualms with how this team has played to start the year so far, depth is really the only glaring issue we have right now.

Much like in football I’m not sure how many of the top teams around the country truly have great depth, not saying it’s not a legitimate concern, but you take away a Top 2-3 player off any Top 5 team and most probably feel that impact.

Nice w. Chaz doing big Chaz things. Igor being the X factor that he is had a nice game. ZZ played awesome in front of hopefully a lot of fam. I thought FeOk had a rough game. Isn’t taking the ball hard to the basket as he did earlier, but still played the center position better than Aidoo 90% of the time.

Edit. Just saw a rare BTO comment in a game thread. Weird as it sounds I’m glad it’s just a concussion. 🙃

That was one of his best games IMO. He does so many things besides score. Record the game and rewatch it just watching Mashack and I bet you will change your opinion. Also, at least twice he drove the lane and fed the 3 point shooter when the D collapsed.

Fair. I guess my concerns are not necessarily grounded in fact, but it does feel like when you catch the injury bug it gets contagious. I just hope that the 3 injuries we already have are the only ones and then we’ll be fine.

Some fans only see scoring. They don’t see passing or rebounding and they sure don’t see defense. It doesn’t matter hire many tones they watch.

Lynn had a great game. Really wish Okpara had a better game but he got glued to the bench with 8 minutes left and we went to a 4 guard lineup. I wonder if coach was trying it out almost as an experiment, since Miami didn't have much in the post outside of Lynn.

He shot 50% from the field with 7 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals & a block

That’s basically his averages on the season…dude is just an elite defender, he’s not going to score 10+ many nights.
