Vibes were very off this game. Carr quitting, Mashack going out early, 2 days before Christmas and against a frisky team like MTSU. This game fell on worst place of the schedule.

Lack of Focus with turnovers gave them opportunity but wow what shooting from 3 hard to defend some of those and No they want keep that up but we need to come out better with defensive intensity. In CHRIST Alone

I’ve been doing some last minute shopping this evening about to hit a local brewery to watch the second half, not too pleased with the score from the first half, hopefully they turn it around when I start watching

MTSU playing with a ton of confidence, we look like we were just ready for the holidays. Locker room speech at half time won’t be pretty.

They have that in spades. What they’ve struggled with is consistency for all 40 minutes. This is a team that averages 11 turnovers a game and only has 3 in the first half against the top defense in the nation. MT absolutely can win this game if UT doesn’t step up the defensive play on Middle’s guards. That’s where their strength is.

But I will stand by my earlier statement about playing at a high level for both halves. I imagine that Barnes is ripping some butt hopes to play better on the perimeter on the defensive end and more focused on the offensive end.
