Fair. He did pitch more innings against Auburn though and it still wasn’t time to yank him after just 2 hits. If that 2nd HR is a single instead and then he gets out of the inning I’m guessing you wouldn’t have said he was left in too long. There was no indication we were going to lose the lead but things happen in baseball.He's also not a traditional starter
You certainly could be right. He did have a good long outing against Auburn so it’s understandable why we’d give him a shot.Probably not, but he is better suited as a closer or possibly a middle reliever while only facing each batter once. He is fast, but his movement is not good enough for long outings IMO
