I’m not sure losing one game is going to knock us off the top-seed line. It could, but baseball is all about winning series. Again, not sure I care much about whether we’re #1 or #2. The difference in competition is likely minimal and if anything it just motivates our guys even more as they’ll feel like this dominant season wasn’t properly appreciated by the committee and they’ll be out to prove it.

My biggest concern rt now is Beck keeping his confidence. He’s in a slump (around 2-21 Ky series and UGA series) but can bounce back

It's baseball, ups and downs. Hot streak can come as fast as a small slump. Honcho will get it going soon.

I’m at the Braves game so I haven’t been able to keep up with the game like normal. If there’s one thing I know about baseball it’s that starting pitchers are starting pitchers and relief pitchers are relief pitchers. Pretty safe to say that Beam is more comfortable starting. But I’m glad we are SEC Champs with a full week left in the season and we are able to experiment!
