If I’m the head coach at UVA, I’m confident in MY guys, I have to be.
UVA is solid and so is Texas. Everyone wants to write off Texas but when you have an ace like they do, you have a chance in any series. When you have arms like Tennessee has, you have a chance in EVERY series.

I’ve watched em a few times. They can mash! In fact, it’s a stand out feature for them because they always have top of the line pitching.

Absolutely! They can hit this year, I mean really hit! and traditionally they have as good of a pitching staff as anyone in the country including the boys…gross. They are not gonna be scared of lil ole Tennessee, uh…but when you watch the tape? I’ve been in those kind of meetings and I’m telling you we pose problems for people, the depth in double elimination. Sorry for the long answer.

I definitely agree. We can do damage at the plate, 1-9 and that with 2-3 guys that can sub in. So realistically, I’d say we can do damage 1-12.
Our starters on the mound can win against anyone, and we are at least 4 deep, not counting Joyce and Sechrist.
Our bullpen is loaded with talent and experience.
Our coaching staff is top notch.
Absolutely, we pose problems in elimination situations.
I honestly think the Kentucky series was more about us than kentucky(although I will not take anything away from Kentucky’s fight) and would favor us in any series, against anyone!

Saw Nebraska vs Illinois in program listings earlier today and thought about tuning in, which I found concerning. May have to think about entering some sort of treatment program.

The opponents have better scouting reports on all the pitchers now, just like Tennessee does. No one is surprised anymore. Freshmen pitchers & hitters often benefit from a lack of information on them at the start. But that’s over now.

I think Luc gives you the experience and the leadership and I would have to question how Burke would respond to the big stage. But my goodness I’m excited about his future.

I watched some yesterday. Nebraska was picked to win the big10 but has struggled. Apparently the injury bug hit them hard.
They are fighting to get into the conference tourney.
