Alternative is man on 1st with 1 out vs no one on and 2 outs.

Those are the decisions that get a team beat.

Yeah and if your coach had a brain you would at the very least run your ass off after the game for getting thrown out at 2nd.

I never got thrown out at 2nd trying to stretch a single because I knew my limitations and knew if I could make it or not. They actually taught us how to run the bases whenever I was growing up so you didn’t really need the 1st base coach if you knew what you were doing.
