Wonder how many people turned it off or left the game after Wright State went up 8-5 in the 8th and missed out on seeing that grand slam.

Nope! I was very frustrated because it was my boys first Tennessee baseball game and after the season we had, I thought he was going to see them lose.
Turns out, he talks about the “bomb” all the time!

I’ll never forget it and I hope my son never forgets us experiencing it together.
Definitely one of the greatest moments in Volunteer sports history!
We were behind home plate and as soon as bat met ball, you could see it start to carry(it seemed to happen in slow motion) and it was apparent real quick, what had just happened! The ping of the bat, the roar of the LNS crowd and the smile on my sons face is something I will take to my grave with me!
That may sound silly but I can’t help it, it was an awesome moment!

Pretty cool to see Chad Bell calling the action tonight. He was a teammate of Cody Hawn and Chad Zurcher at South-Doyle High School. That was a loaded team.
