This is a rarity in the Barnes era. Literally nothing is going right. We can't get stops, we can't stop fouling and we can't sink baskets. This is a complete meltdown. Maybe no more trans continental tournaments ahead of playing ranked opponents.

We have been bad, the officials have been worse. Just this second they knock DK off the ball and call a contact foul on us 3 seconds later. We would not be close with a perfectly called game, but them doubling down with one sided whistles is just making it worse.

This is one of the saddest efforts I've seen from a Rick Barnes coached team. Not making shots is one thing, but the defensive effort, especially perimeter defense, is just embarrassing. I'm not sure I've ever seen a worse effort from a Barnes coached defense.

At least when we weren't making shots in Maui we could depend on an elite defensive effort. UNC is hitting everything they throw up, but a large majority of the shots are uncontested from 3, or weakly contested (and lazily fouled) shots at the rim. Stupid mistakes, dumb frustration fouls, careless ball-handling, no one getting open on offense.

I’m starting to wonder . . . If Knecht was fools gold. He’s a decent player . . . But maybe not what early returns suggested? He turns it over quite a bit and may be a liability on defense and in rebounding.

He’s our leading rebounder and literally has all of our 3 rebounds.

Our play has been roughly 1 million times worse
