This is one of the saddest efforts I've seen from a Rick Barnes coached team. Not making shots is one thing, but the defensive effort, especially perimeter defense, is just embarrassing. I'm not sure I've ever seen a worse effort from a Barnes coached defense.

At least when we weren't making shots in Maui we could depend on an elite defensive effort. UNC is hitting everything they throw up, but a large majority of the shots are uncontested from 3, or weakly contested (and lazily fouled) shots at the rim. Stupid mistakes, dumb frustration fouls, careless ball-handling, no one getting open on offense.

Not making shots isn’t our problem. We’re shooting 60%. It’s nearly impossible to shoot better than we are, except we’re letting UNC do it.

I remember being pressed into coaching rec league ball one season. I really had no idea how to run an offense.

Except we apparently didnt do anything to prepare for this game in any respect.
