Good inning. Made him work with 40+ pitches. Strikeouts are still bad (3 Ks that inning). Should’ve had more.

I was always taught to let it go foul with a runner in scoring position unless it's the last out of the inning.

Playing with fire letting outs go. Could play into a big inning. One run in the 3rd isn’t a big deal. Like I said, we’re going to have to score more than two to win today most likely.

I have the Braves spring training game on in the background & Skip announced Don Sutton passed away.
That was the first time I'd heard this. Sutton passed away in January of cancer at 75. RIP #20.
