This has to be one of Barnes worse Free Throw shooting teams ever. But is don’t expect anything less going to Rupp arena with the amount of fouls getting called against the Vols.
Kentucky shooting 31 free throws to our 14 is just criminal. But if we would have just shot 60% from te line we would be winning.

Make 10-14 and this is a game.

We would’ve had more free throws with the 1-1s. It’s just unacceptable how bad this offense is and how bad free throw shooting is.

Kentucky has made 16 more free throws and have attempted 17 more than us.

We would have attempted more if we made some of the 1-and-1s.

A much better performance second half, but still a loss. I don’t see us beating A&M on the road as they are playing well.
The loss itself doesn’t concern me, but how we lost:

1. Poor first half. No energy. Hoot me turnovers
2. Can’t shoot. We do not have consistent shooters.
3 post play- concerning. Our bigs are not good. Barnes better recruit as very concerning.
4. Foul shooting - I don’t know what to say. It’s ridiculous, embarrassing and inexcusable.
5. Lack athleticism- who can we can count on to end a drought or get a basket when needed? Will Mashack be the guy?


I loved the fight in the 2nd half but frustrated w the horrible foul shooting. My rec team shot 70% yrs ago. Geez.

Mashack can’t dribble or pass yet but he is a terrific defender.

He reminds me of Little RIchard

Mashak played tough, but he has no control on his offensive game, if he could settle down, would be an electric overall player

What’s frustrating is that this game was easily winnable. We just completely **** the bed in the first half, and there’s no reason why we should’ve played that badly.
