The Official #10 Tennessee @ Vanderbilt Game Thread, 7:30 PM ET, SEC Network

So we’re going to lose our two best receivers, get Bama and UF on the road, have a QB that can’t complete intermediate routes, and also isn’t a willing runner……..and have basically the same record as this year???
Just let the “this is are year!” type of fans be.

What should the score be?

21 - 0 in the rain doesn't seem to horrible to me.....
I didn’t say the score wasn’t satisfactory. I’m saying we’ve throw bombs on 3 or 4 3rd and mediums. Not throwing to tight ends or slants much. Not running Milton at all. His strength is running and throwing the across field slants/ screens that he can rocket there before a defender has time to shed a block.

I'm not sure it's all on Milton. Those throws needed to be perfect

No not really. I mean most of his receivers had one, if not two plus steps on their defender. Poor touch and timing. You figure by the time you are in your 20’s playing QB all these years you would figure that out, at this point, like my self-taught golf swing, too much to overcome!

I mean that is possible but I am going with 8-4 for the moment.

Key will be winning @ the Swamp. If we win that game, it could set Tennessee up for another great season. If they lose it, expect an 8-4 or 7-5 type season.
I think Georgia and Alabama will be losses and Tennessee will beat a Florida team in the Swam[ who is without a decent coach and will probably be 6-6 in 2023.

Well, we do have a shut-out at halftime. We good as long as nobody gets hurt tonight.
Up 21-0 in a game we were the trendy pick to lose in after laying an egg last week?

And people are bitching? On the verge of our first 10-win year in how long?

This is why this place really sucks sometimes.
