Getting open shots is what matters. The shots will balance out as far as what goes in or not. As long as we play great defense we will be hard to beat.

The jury is still out on Anosike, but a few more weeks of poor play like this and I might be right there with you. I expect some major reshuffling of the roster in the off-season, tbh. It will all depend on what Springer/Johnson decide in regards to the NBA, but it's possible that this team loses Pons/Fulky/Springer/Johnson and then has some transfers like a Gaines or Pember.

I expect this roster to look completely different next year, especially with the one time transfer rule.

Well one good thing, this game has felt ugly, but we are up 10 and dominating the stat line for the most part. Our 3 point shooting is atrocious though 22% right now.

Two impact players coming in next year. Think Fulky comes back and at least one of Springer/ Johnson if not both. Gaines and Pember won’t matter

I gotta say to play as poorly as we did that half and still be up 10 is solid. Shake off the rust at halftime, start strong, and we can open this thing up.

Oh to have a season without the breaks for the big C. I believe we would see a team get consistently better. This game on, game off is a killer. I know everyone else is having to do it, but it seems to be hitting our schedule more that many.

Lol I agree. I mentioned them more to showcase that there could be anywhere from 3-6 open roster spots at the end of this depending on NBA decisions. So, lot's of room to pull some big men from the transfer market if we find the right fit. Although I'd rather have BHH above anyone else. Our transfers have been pretty hit or miss.

It’s not going to happen but if I was Anosike I would spend all next spring and summer trying to develop a top of the arc 3. The fact zero of our post players can stretch the floor makes driving for our guards that much more difficult. Grant and Admiral made defenses spread out opening drive lanes for easy two’s. We’re severely missing that unless we play small.
