At least when he yells at them he isn’t also cussing them out. That’s a rare quality in a coach.

A former Cornhuskers Football Coach nearly hit a Cornhuskers football player.

Also the yelling is common for College Coaches except an obvious line is physical abuse which I recall in the past decade was talked about on ESPN.

I can’t recall what exact University in the United States for where a Head Coach crossed the line with physical abuse of the College Basketball Players.

Bobby Knight comes to mind, but he really didn’t cause any physical harm to players when he went “hands on”.

What he is doing now ain’t working. So do something else. Back off and see if that works.

I haven’t seen a lack of effort at all. So in some ways it works. CRB is also encouraging taking the open shot, so I’m not sure what changing up will accomplish.

It might be conditioning. After busting it on D the players don’t have as much energy in the other end. A lot of shots (and FTs) seem to be short.

#11 in the country with a shot to be a 2 seed...won the first SECT in 40 years last year with almost this exact same roster.

That's what "ain't working" is now?

We're down 2 (potentially 3) of our best players on the team and playing with less bodies than we were earlier in the season when the offense and team were crushing teams. It happens, lots of inexperienced guys are being baptized in the fire right now and need to step up.

3 starters out... Aggies are HOT right now at home... this one could get ugly... but watch, they'll never really mention or make a case for the fact we have 3 starters out of 5 sitting out, only that we struggled...

Maybe we can finally grow a set and drive to the basket tonight, drawing fouls, where we should make the FT's since surely Barnes has had them practicing FT every day... It will be interesting to see if the refs do their thing and call a foul on us every time we breath on them... Aggies are tops in FT %.... that may be the difference.

This mentally fragile team will be a toss-up which one shows for the remainder of the season... Got the talent though, to beat anyone in the country.

Can’t leave out that we don’t have a NBA pg this year
ZZ is good but nowhere near the level of KC

I think calling this team mentally fragile is just troll bait honestly. Some of these guys didn't expect to get much court time at all this season and are now stepping into much larger roles.

Mashack hadn't seen 20 minutes of game action since Ole Miss. Against Bama he put on a defensive clinic and then at Kentucky he went off offensively (really rough from the free throw line though).

Awaka beginning against Auburn had to step into a bigger role as well, he only looked bad against Bama.

Aidoo has been getting pretty steady minutes most the season, but he's still a guy that's just now pushing 600 minutes of playing time in his two years here. Hoping he has a really strong outing like against Bama.

BJ Edwards will likely see a lot of minutes if Santi can't go so who knows what we'll get from him.

Sure you can put some blame on Barnes for these guys not having more experience (since two are sophomores) but they are all going through the same practices, film studies, and conditioning as the guys on the court...when you get your minutes just make them count.

Amen. They are also tired of him chewing on them all the time. Don’t chew on them. Talk to them. If they keep doing the same stuff all the time then put them on the bench. And explain why. No need to keep chewing on them all the time. Eventually they are going to stop listening.

You can criticize the style of offense, but I’m just not sure why people believe this. They love him. He’s tough on the court, but he’s a prankster and someone they respect off the court.

Greetings from Aggieland, where the student body has packed the arena one hour from tip and chants of “beat the bell out of TENNESSEE” echoed from the sidewalks on the way into the arena. They’re going to be a lively group tonight!

I’m watching the thrilling final minutes of the 2022 Football game that is Tennessee upsetting Alabama 52-49 before leaving to drive to Council Bluffs Hooters.
