A lot of turnovers by our starting guards. We are very easy to guard as we have zero interior threats in the half court. Need to rebound better on defense and push tempo and try and force fouls. If not shooting well from the perimeter that is the only way we can score.

Maybe I’m jaded by the success of the football Vols but I’ve not been impressed thus far in either of our 2 games.

Same ! Maybe because it’s too early for basketball. I love TN hoops, but I’m having a hard time staying interested in this game .

If you remember back to last year, that team also had some pretty awful early season struggles and they turned out okay.

Doesn’t mean I’m not disappointed with the puke on the court right now, but I’m not worried. Just win the game, whether it’s by 1 or 100. W is all that matters. Everything else will work itself out.

Vescovi has been turning it over when he is driving since he has been here. He’s slow and gets out a little careless. He’s a shooter and that’s it on offense.
