Whiffing on all the portal pgs is going to really hurt us this year. You are seeing the result of having to use Vescovi to run the offense so much. Colorado is pressing Ziegler and forcing someone else to get the offense going. Smart coaching by Boyle

Wtf was that??? We let him come up court completely uncontested with 7 seconds left?? What are we doing?? Just a tiny bit of full court press stops him and they don't get a clean shot off! That was piss poor effort!

Hopefully we shoot better in second half, if we do it’ll be a game we pull away.

At this point, just win the game. We look like crap but even playing like crap we should beat a team like Colorado.

Yep. We are having a hard time penetrating, and even when we do, there’s no one to throw the ball to. Our inside game consists of one guy slashing to the basket and throwing up a prayer. No interior passing.

Not really, they have 13 team fouls and we’ve shot just 26 times. They have slowed us down with fouls, but we’ve hit 81% and taken advantage.

The shots we've driven on that were actually good shots didn't fall either.

All around bad offense so far.

Tennessee closed out the half making 1-10 FG.

6-26 FG(1 made 2 point FG), Colorado with 8 offensive rebounds(24-21 Colorado advantage), only 5 assists, and 9 TOs. We are lucky to be up.

Key has 12 points(9-11 FT), 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 0 TO
JJJ has 9 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 0 TO

I love my Vols but I definitely don’t like watching “three and whee,” or whatever you want to call it, with no dominance or even attempts to dominate in the paint. Hope Tennessee can get back inside in the second half.

We turned it over too much, fouled a lot, bricked more than Butch Jones and are still ahead thanks to them fouling even more and turning it over even more. We are seeing a lack of that one guy who can absolutely go get a bucket like KC could. That may be Phillips but he had two dumb fouls so fast we were essentially without him.

Same issue we've had for a few years--not enough of an inside game. We did draw a lot of fouls, which was good. 17 points from
the line in a half is a large number--and needed since we made only 6 FGs.
