But don't you know? There aren't any secondary coaches in this whole big country of ours who actually teach technique, all that really intricate, advanced stuff like turning your damn head when the WR looks up for the ball, you know, the stuff that can only be learned in secret rooms by two coaches who both currently make $20 million per year and coach at secret programs and would never come here. Or not taking the wrong angle constantly, or overrunning the play so every time a running back gets past the D-line he goes for twenty yards - this is all super-secret stuff that no one on the high school level ever teaches, and only two guys in the country teach on the college level, Nicky and Kirby. No DB coach anywhere is teaching this, and none of them would come here anyway because everybody knows we pay less than hundreds of other D-1 programs.I’m not really sure if Pruitt was a DB coach or not. Didn’t pay that close attention. But I can guarantee you that Pruitt had more pros under him at Bama and Georgia when he was the DC than Martinez has ever had. Pruitt was just a horrendous head coach and that ain’t a discussion.
That really isn’t the question here. The other guy was trying poorly to defend Martinez. That is a lost cause and ain’t up for discussion either. All you have to do is look at the technique of his DB’s and you have the answer. End of discussion.
End of discussion hell ! Your talking out your ass. Pruitt hasn't had half the success as Martinez even under Richt and Saban. We also know very well Saban coaches his dbs personally. Not gonna speculate on technique but it is proven he gets kids to the league. Anything other than saying that is just uneducatedI’m not really sure if Pruitt was a DB coach or not. The ONLY reason we have a Coach Prime at all is he felt his son got shaded as a high school senior and very few P5 schools recruited him as a QB. Last year he was livid his son got zero serious consideration for the Heisman. It will be interesting to see how this plays out through the season. The wheels will come off and then let's see how Coach Prime manages it.Looks like the talk of the week is going to be Colorado, neither team has a defense I guess.
His son with over 500 yards...ridiculous
