Fortunately it didn't turn into a ft shooting contest. 61 percent is terrible though. Glad it didn't matter tonight.

Ended at 68%. But if you take out Awaka and Mashack, we shot 75%.

Uros, Awaka, and Mashack have brought it way down. We haven’t shot many FT’s over the season, and just a few missed brings it down. Everyone else but those 3 are 70% or above.

Did anyone else notice that Arkansas was denying the ball from Mashack going up the court like they were worried about him running the offense? I’m so wowed by Mashack’s improvements

He was our best option against Kentucky...He takes it to the rack and aggressive... Kinda goes against Barnes pass it around 15 times a possession... He just plays ball and loose

Man, I love sitting here listening to the postgame. They’re interviewing JJJ and Santi, and they’re so polished in their answers and delivery.
I have been to home and away games, and it is always impressive to hear Vol Nation hang around afterwards and clap for the players and the coaches, regardless of the Court they’re on.
My only regret is that I don’t live up there and have the ability to go to more games and experience it more often.

I’ve now determined it’s not necessarily Barnes “passing it 15 times a possession.” As much as I like SV, he lacks confidence in his midrange and layup game. He did finally hit a floater. But SV and ZZ find gaps but more often than not, they pass out of it, which results in more passes. A more confident player doesn’t pass. JJJ doesn’t take it all the way either, but his midrange game can really help us.

What sucked about the refs tonight was the Arkansas bugger picker pitched a fit and they went from a low fouling game to blowing the whistle every time the hogs drove the lane. Just be consistent!
