They said he hurt his shoulder at the end of McNeese St. Not a serious injury was the reportWas at the game live tonight, why was Santi out?
Mashack is just getting better and better every game. He’s always active, fun to just watch him defend his guy. Phillips really would be unstoppable if he added 20-30 pounds of good size. Uros was battling well and was great seeing JJJ back, he got a huge cheer when they announced him entering the game.
I watched him the 30 minutes or so before the game and he was not moving his left shoulder or arm at all. Shoulders can be a little worrisome, especially on your shooting side. Obviously, he was not dressed out. They said he hurt his shoulder at the end of McNeese St. Not a serious injury was the report
To be fair, the team we played tonight was incredibly undersized. But every game he’s played in he’s been very active on the boards. Heard the announcer say he had t touched weights until he got to Tennessee. A couple years from now he’ll be a monsterAlso, Awaka is the best rebounder on the team. Not even close, he could be a 15 a night player once he’s playing 30+ mpg.
Watching him live he just understands how to rebound so well. Finds a body to box out and then attacks the ball while it’s still in the air. Played 9 minutes and grabbed 5 boards.

Agreed. We have not just one, but two guys with height who excel at slashing to the basket and scoring and/or getting fouled. Not to mention, you can’t exactly leave them open on the perimeter either. If we could keep Mashack and Philips in the starting lineup, chances are good that we won't have a complete offensive lapse in first half.
I’ve been to all the home games and attendance was pretty good and nowhere near low. I think we’re averaging 16,500 in paid attendance, although there’s not that many butts in the seats. As a comparison, Alabama is averaging 9,900 in paid attendance and Arkansas 19,000 in paid attendance. My guess is we had 13-14,000 actually there. We are currently 4th in paid attendance in the NCAA.I've always been intrigued about this. I've heard it's $100k-$150k, but Tennessee attendance for these games is really low so I wonder what it's truly worth.
