This will be the easiest win Tennessee has all season.

Powell is a sniper from three point territory.

Chandler had a very solid game.

Now we move on to a very important road trip at Colorado on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. and against Texas Tech at Madison Square Garden next Tuesday.

I won't say he played well. We didn't need him to log many minutes but we need an upgrade in production as a team leader and best low post weapon. You got to be able to get in double figures against a team like this.

Not really. In tighter games, they have made it more of a point to get him on the block. He was 6-7 against UNC and 5-9 against TN Tech. But he didn’t get the ball tonight, and when you shoot 50% from 3, he doesn’t need to. He just needs to be a threat and be relied upon if we need a bucket in crunch time. But adding Kennedy Chandler to this team brings another dimension as far as beating the defender off the dribble. You want it in Chandler’s hands.

QDE looks the part on the court. Also had better ball-handling and passing than I expected. Mashack doesn't seem to have confidence in his shot from the outside, passed up some open ones, and the FTs were bad, but he is a dog on the court. Very excited about their development. Aidoo is one tall athletic guy, could see a monster Soph or Jr jump. Throw in Ziegler and we have potentially 4 great 4 year talents.

Yeah. Fulky only took 2 shots today which is crazy, but he was active and the bucket he got helped spark our run in the first half.

Wow, we must of watched a different game as I saw a guy play great D who played within the flow of the game. He’s clearly a leader on the floor directing teammates. When there is spacing and he’s fed the ball on the post he’s getting good shots or passing well when doubled. Passed as well out of the pick and roll as I can remember feeding SV for buckets. He did everything I’d wanted of him in a warm up game against a weaker opponent where CRB was wanting to see a lot of guys play. Lots of scoring options with this year’s team such that we don’t want one guy shooting all the time. If he can stay healthy he certainly has been moving and playing much better than last season

Fulkerson was +25 tonight, second on the team
Behind Chandler. He did that on 2fg attempts. Never mind the fact he had 4 assists and zero turnovers. Just because he didn’t score a lot doesn’t mean he wasn’t being productive. For some reason Vol fans only care about how much a certain player scored as to whether or not they’re being productive. We will need Fulkerson as a leader and for communication purposes defensively.

He did do those things but we had little to no post scoring. You can't beat good teams in this league with 100% guard offense. I agree it was a warm up game so you get him warm on offense. I don't think that's a stretch to say.

In CRB’s post game talk he commented that Uros wasn’t bringing all of his good practice play to the games. CRB thought that Uros felt if he didn’t score he would get benched inferring CRB wasn’t necessarily looking for scoring from Uros. Listen to the interviews also for KC and Powell. Seems like Bailey is practicing better also and CRB is a big proponent of “you play the games like you practice” and he has the players believing the same. “Reliable and dependable” were used to describe what CRB was wanting of players daily and he felt like the minutes will work themselves out as guys prove their consistency.

I’m on the play BHH & Powell more train, but I’m thinking I need to trust CRB to play the guys he thinks are best.

Good win, I do wish that Fulky and ONK would establish themselves in the post. We will need that going into the toughest part of the non conference schedule, Uros is just soft.....nothing aggressive or tough about him at all
