I really hope we can get anything going on offense as the year unfolds. The defense is elite for the most part. In games where we need buckets it's hope Kennedy goes full Trey Young or lose.

I think it’s because most of us realize what’s going to happen against good teams and in the SEC if this is how we Play. If we don’t get some inside presence and just Jack 3’s , we see what will happen vs. good teams

Barnes has been lost offensively, especially in post play, since Coach Lanier left! Why in the FREAKIN HELL is .Comwha shooting three of his four shots as 3pt’ers?!?!? Get his damn ass in the paint!!! I 💯 agree with other posts about the rotation! Hot f’in garbage so far this season!

Agreed. Defense is elite. But, even with great defense, if our offensive execution does not improve, our defense won’t be enough to win games against really good competition. I haven’t been watching, just following the thread today, and it seems we’re struggling to execute again which is discouraging.

2 things.
1. This defense is better than last years. The foot speed and closing rates are Elite. Expect when Uros on the court. BHH has to be more aggressive to get more minutes
2. Team shot better, but still look hesitant in half court offense, like second guessing themselves. Need to play more free and attack to have the true inside to out offense.

ON was something like 7 -12 from three coming into this game

% isn’t great but otherwise

39% from 3
11 assists, 8 steals, 3 blocks 6 O rebounds vs 4 to’s…….pretty dang good.

Holding them to 33% and 11%.

Rebounds and overall % could be better…..but this is a huge improvement over last game.

Different opponent…..sure however I don’t see the dread as everyone else (in this game).

We’re 7-18 from 3. It hasn’t been THAT bad. 33 points just looks bad because UNCG plays at a turtle’s pace. They’re not Tennessee Tech. They came in 7-2 and both losses were in OT.

Much much easier againts SoCon opponent. Bama, Ky and Auburn will sweep this team this season
