I’m assuming you mean me, and im also assuming, by your remarks of one particular play in a 9 inning game that cost the entire game, that you know nothing about baseball.Well another base running error, maybe cost a game. A certain someone wanna dispute me again?
Yeah dude, it is a concern. Hitting was bad yes, but in close games, you need all the runners or extra ABs. It has happened more than usual than I've seen with UT than any other team i have watched over last few seasons, and I watch a lot of baseball. It is very much concerning to Vitello.I’m assuming you mean me, and im also assuming, by your remarks of one particular play in a 9 inning game that cost the entire game, that you know nothing about baseball.
Yes, that wasn’t good baserunning, but if you think that one mistake, followed by a strike out and whatever the next out was (wasn’t watching), equal “maybe winning”, then I have zero reason to discuss these things with you.
We didn’t hit, that cost us the game. Period.

My point is though, similar to what you just said. If you can’t hit, you’d better play smart. But if you struggle base running, you’d better hit. Either way works.Yeah dude, it is a concern. Hindsight is 20/20, but I was thinking be ballsy and hit and run with 0 outs in the 9th hoping ISU would play in for a bunt.
It is what it is, about 50 more games to go. Go Vols
