My point is though, similar to what you just said. If you can’t hit, you’d better play smart. But if you struggle base running, you’d better hit. Either way works.

Hindsight is 20/20, but I was thinking be ballsy and hit and run with 0 outs in the 9th hoping ISU would play in for a bunt.

That's rational. To compete in the SEC, I think we're going to have to do all of the above though.

They’ve been to the same number of NCAA regionals as we have. They are a consistently solid program in a good baseball conference. Hitting is an issue, yes. But Indiana St terrible? Nope.
