Something I’ve been thinking about this week...
We can all probably agree that while Dave Serrano didn’t exactly get the results in the W/L column, he’s a pretty dang good baseball coach and knows how to run a program. Did he leave a solid enough foundation within the program and lay the groundwork to help Vitello get some early success or do we not give him any credit for the state of the program?
It’s just always been a mystery to me, why he didn’t have more success with this program.

Good coach, his style of baseball just wasn't suited for SEC. A lot more west coast style ball which isn't an exciting brand so facilities and money wasn't put in the program. That regard he set Vitello back.

That ETSU game worries me. It’s sandwiched between two opposite ends of the spectrum. We are going from playing maybe the worst team in baseball to possibly the best, with an in state school that would like nothing more than to bash us, in the middle.
