This game reminds me of the Villanova game, but Arky is not as good as Nova so it wasn't a blowout.

Refs slapped the Vols hand early and made them play about 10x smaller and more timid than this team is.

When other crews let this team play, they assert their will and completely control the opponent and the game.

1st half was a whistle fest and our players never picked up on how the refs wanted the game to be played.

This. The refs completely **** our confidence. Disgusting.

We played poorly and deserved to lose with all those open looks that we couldn’t knock down. Give Arkansas credit for making the plays when it counted and winning without their leading scorer being much of a factor due to fouls.

Having said that, the officiating in this game was atrocious. Just awful.

We can all whine about the refs all we want, but we soo earned this loss!

Refs didn’t cost us the game. Rarely do. Missed calls and bad calls occur during each game of every sporting event. Now refs can neutralize a game if they blow the whistle for every hand check, touch foul, etc. Or the opposite, if they swallow their whistles and allow big teams who are physical to bang inside,etc without calling a foul.

TN lost this game! We could not shoot the ball. Our guard play was suspect and nobody could take control in the post, hence 48 points in one game. The Hogs didn’t shoot well which is concerning but we will bounce back, No other choice!
