The Official #16 Tennessee vs. #4 Kentucky Game Thread, 9:00 PM ET, ESPN

He really takes a beating drawing the fouls. Purposely just let's people run him over and makes zero effort to stop from hitting the floor. All just to get a call, true dedication to the game lol
True dedication to doin work against the NPOY too. Oscar couldn’t stay in front of him. I was shocked at how slow his feet are on defense.

Huge win. Barnes out coached Calipari once again and we executed. Chandler carried us early and when Kentucky made a dent in the cushion Ziegler always seemed to make a play. Great contributions from frontcourt. Fulky was aggressive throughout and Aidoo was a difference maker. Vescovi was himself and James despite foul trouble was a big contributor. Strange as it seems, I think we can still play better. We left 10 pts off the board with missed layups. Appear to be peaking which is nice to see and our confidence level should be soaring. Still need more players to contribute however.

We outplayed them the entire game. Had a few sloppy moments but we played hard on both sides of the floor we hit shots and rebounded well against them. Great D effort once again. We play D like a badge of honor! Great win all the way around, players and staff we beat them everywhere tonight! GBO!

Honestly looked more like the UT players went the other direction to celebrate and Cal let them have their moment. Rick and Cal seem friendly and I'm sure they'll talk later in private.
They had a good moment at center court when there was under a minute left and the Vols were dribbling the clock out

Who's the last Tennessee coach to beat Kentucky seven years in a row? For that matter, who's the last coach of any team to beat them seven years in a row?

Mears & Devoe both had good runs vs Ky. But I don’t know if they won at least once 7 yrs in a row. Devoe had a long run of wins in Stokely.
