The Official #16 Tennessee vs. Georgia Game Thread, 8:00 PM ET, ESPN2

I left the game with around 5 or 6 minutes left, we just went back up by 14. My wife was dozing off, not a big sports fan, but likes going to games for about an hour. I made it back to my room at the Hilton and I walked, at the wife's speed and the game was still on for about 10 seconds. Hell, I might have made it back with over 2 minutes left, by myself

Have they said exactly what Pons injury is? Also if it is something that could keep him out? The radio acted like they was not aware of it until warm ups
Barnes said he tweaked his knee the last minute or so of the Kentucky game and had some swelling. Sounded like they expected to have him back this weekend.

Hate to say it but Vescovi is becoming a liability firing 2nd half if games. He’s not a true point guard but turns it over. Can’t defend well. Leaves his feet on D.
He does defend well and leads the SEC in a:to ratio. He’s not a true pg but he’s clearly our best option at pg which is why CRB typically plays him the most minutes of the wings.

Defense in the paint was definitely missing Pons. We don't really have another rim protector. Other than that, it just looked like the team got up big and mailed it in on defense.

Appears to me he is good to make four turnovers a game, but I didn’t look up his stats.

I look up to the young man for playing out of position but it’s frustrating w some of his decisions or lack of ball protection. Just my opinion.

Agree, good post. That’s why I think we need two post players in next class as we will miss Pons more than we realize.

This question has been asked numerous times but I can’t recall if anyone truly knows the answer so I will ask again. Is Fulky okay? He has so much heart and played well last year and beginning of this year.

I thought I read back in late December or Jan that he came down with covid and lost weight. Plus he had his wisdom teeth extracted and dropped some pounds again.
Hope the young man is okay. I get frustrated with his play @ times but know he is always giving his all.

Thanks!

Is Fulkerson injured?

We could use a little more sunshine pumping around this gloomy-azz, angst-ridden board and a little less bad grammar you're = you are

People want to be so critical after a solid win. Fulky is really the only one that needs to find himself. Of course, they could all play better together for the full game but they are a really good team. Go Vols!

You are so triggered. 6 straight times you’ve quoted me.

Sorry that TN hung on for the win.

You started this mess. Calling me out, when a dozen or more are also criticizing Fulky.
Then you rambled something about RB's salary.

Of course I've quoted you 6 times(you did the same btw) I want to see how many times you say "triggered"
