All in all, pretty solid night. I only got to watch the 2nd half, but from what I can tell it was a solid performance. You kept the record clean of bad losses. You got great, surprising minutes from BHH and Bailey. And you set up a massive game against Auburn. I’ll take it.

That Arkansas game was totally ****ed. Unless we get the same refs rigging a game like that in the tournament then that game has no bearing on my thoughts about this team’s ceiling. It’s the anomaly in the second half of league play. Has more to do with crooked refs than us.

Great to see zo get blowed out again! Tonight looked like the trimmed rotation helped. Would’ve been a 30pt blowout if Aidoo wasn’t 1-8 and JJJ 3-9. No picking on Aidoo but JJJ must get better driving basketball. Dane even said he needs to add a second move in offseason! His mistakes are killing our runs! He should be better on the little things in game flow at this point in career.

Aidoo might not have the touch on the offensive end yet, but he at least makes a difference on the defensive end. Three blocks for him tonight, and altered more. Uros doesn't have any touch either, but he also can't really defend. Glad to see Aidoo got a lot of minutes tonight. Brandon also played pretty well all things considered.

Weird that Powell played zero minutes tonight. Bailey got hot, so that played a part. I don't think Fulky played a single minute in the second half. I thought he was playing pretty well in the first so not sure what happened there.

Fulky is hurt from last game and Powell has been a turtle lately.

So who has tiebreakers among the top three? I would assume KY?

If we finish in a three way tie with Auburn and Kentucky we would own that tiebreaker, assuming we beat Auburn and we all finish 14-4. Auburn and Kentucky will need to lose an additional game to drop to our record though. In this scenario, Tennessee would own the best combined record amongst the tied teams. Auburn would be 1-1 against Tennessee and Kentucky. Kentucky would be 1-2 against Auburn and Tennessee. Tennessee would be 2-1 against Auburn and Kentucky.

I don't either. I think they were a little desperate. He promised and brought in some star recruits his 1st year with the dad job deal he was able to pull off at Cal as well if I remember correctly. I'm sure they were hoping that would be the start of something good but it didn't pan out. He always has a couple good players on the team. If he doesn't turn it around then it's hard to see more than another year at the school.

Barnes said fulky has a hip flexor injury which usually takes about 1-3 weeks to heal. I would be ok with him taking time off as long as he is full strength for the tournaments.

That’s what we need from them every game, hopefully Fulky is healthy for Saturday.

What we currently don’t have is the ability to throw to either of them in the post and count on getting a bucket. Play D, challenge shots, rebound - points are a bonus right now.
