2019 - 1/5 14 yards (Maurer took over and played most of the game due to injury.)
2018 - 13/21 145 yards 2 TD

Currently Milton is 9/15 for 76 yards and no TDs. He's on track for a worse game than JG ever had against Georgia.

We are limiting them in the run game, but can't cover on 3rd down. I don't care if any of their other guys make plays, but giving Bowers cushion and allowing his to catch as much as he is is inexcusable. Beck only looked his way to start the game and we didn't stop it. Now pur defense is tiring out abd the field is opening up for Beck.

That is actually a great analysis of the situation.

The other HUGE thing you don’t have is a reliable, consistent, offense that will help your defense out. Usually, subpar qb play, coupled with piss poor coaching, puts the D in a bad spot, and subsequently, puts WAY too much pressure on the D!

The Tennessee defense is better than the Florida defense, but you have the same problem. You don't have one "dog" on defense.

You don't have a lockdown corner, a ball hawking safety, a linebacker that lays the wood when he hits someone, a defensive end that requires special attention on passing downs, or a defensive tackle that commands double teams.

There isn't one guy that makes the other 10 on the field any better.

No. On the pass where Joe rolled out of the pocket and passed it for 6 yards, I believe it was Keyton had peeled back from the corner and was wide open. Would’ve been a walk in touchdown.
