It's games/seasons like this I hate the traditional hiring practices (HC, OC, DC). If I was an AD at a lot of P5 schools, I wouldn't do it. Given what TN faces, I probably wouldn't do it there either. It just makes no sense anymore.

At this point the evidence points towards that, even if it’s untrue. Until proven otherwise Hooker made him look brilliant. Now his refusal to adjust, and acceptance putting trash on the field when there’s options makes it at the least appear that he is clueless. Sadly only way to know is to see what happens next year
