You can’t always shield people, remember the same people that are so upset, probably trusted Joe that he was gonna turn it around this year, I’m guilty of that or really wanted to or are paying his nil. At some point grown adults have to be held accountable for not getting their jobs done, and this has happened many times this year and people are tired of it.

I don’t think that’s completely the case. Hooker wasn’t setting the world on fire before he got here. Heupel is just a nice guy to his players and rewarding Milton for sticking it out. I honestly think we’re gonna be really good next year, probably 10-2 again or better. We have no leadership on this team, that’s the problem.

That’s a huge part of it. Coach needs to get in people’s grill when they screw up or lack discipline. Too much of a players coach, imo. No accountability no leadership from the players.

Josh showed more reaction on officiating in 5 seconds than he’s shown in 4 post game pressers in 4 weeks, 4 coach’s shows, and 4 weekly coaches calls in the league….

So yes it is funny to watch him complain more on the field than off the field.
