Oh I'm not, Butch had Dobbs and Heupel had Hooker. Butch did beat Georgia once. I remember Butch going 7-6, then 9-4. Right now it's a very fair comparison. He sticks with bad QB's like Pruitt thou.

Actually Butch beat Georgia twice, should have 3 times (‘13). This Georgia ain’t Mark Richt coached Georgia. Not close

Did you really think this program (coming off 3 outta 4 losing seasons) would go thru 2 years of 10 less scholarships & NCAA investigation with no pain? The talent difference is enormous between the 2. Much more so than Alabama IMO.

I hope. I thought the days of being embarrassed were over after last yr. I was wrong.

We picked up a couple of OL in the portal last year and probably will again…just hope some of these young guys pan out…but our OL is average at best and that limits how far we can go. A great QB (like Hooker and Dobbs) can get the team a few more wins that their talent warrants but Joe is a very average QB.

He is trash. Sorry if that hurts your feelings. He isn't an SEC quality QB or for that matter, a P5 QB. He isn't a kid, he is in his 20's and if he can't handle the pressure or spotlight, he will never succeed in life. Life isn't all puppy dogs and sunshine.

I really hope Nico starts next week.

I think it was a huge mistake not to get him more playing time throughout the season when clearly we were not in the national championship hunt. Milton is gone next year no matter what, and probably not to the NFL. Get Nico some snaps and build off of that. He should start against Vandy and in the bowl game. Big miss by the coaching staff IMO.

Very **** take sir. We have watched our team regress, not progress. We’ve watched a **** QB continually trot onto the field. We’ve watched our staff and QB make really stupid decisions….weekly. People are pissed, not delusional.

I think the point of the post was that last year was a fluke, a shot in the pan, where everything lined up perfectly. It wasn't an accurate snapshot of where the actual program was. This year is more of an accurate sense of how the actual program is. Thankfully another good recruiting class is coming in.

Still have a shot at 9-4 after the bowl game. Those that expected linear growth after last year were delusional.

Realistic is not something Volnation is known for.

I had us at 9-3 until Bru and Pili went down. We'll be 8-4, which is reasonable for our talent.

If you follow the game threads you'd think we were 4-7 instead of 7-4.

At this point, hopefully we get some mediocre 6 win team to play in our bowl game. We just need wins. We can't compete with good teams with the injured roster we have left. Need to conjure up any of the momentum we lost these last two weeks.
