Potential or immediate? He said McClung was better than any guard on our roster, you agree?
I laid out the numbers, McClung is far from being the best guard on this roster, now or in the future.Potential or immediate?
In terms of immediate impact he might be. In terms of ceiling I’d rate Springer better. As a pure guard he’d be better than Bailey or Vescovi. In terms of ready for prime time, able to create his own shot, yes. The transfer times didn’t line up, so to me it’s a moot point. The Vols looked to have needed post help more than anything. Do I like Barnes moves on post players? No, they are hot garbage and have been for a while.
He’s averaging 17.5 points, shooting 36% from three and 30 minutes. Leading scorer on his team. WTF are you looking at. Far?
Some people can't look beyond PPG.Springer/Pons/Johnson all with a better fg%, Bailey/Springer/Johnson with better 2pt%, Springer/Vescovi with better 3pt%, James/Vescovi/Springer/Johnson better RPG, Vescovi/Springer/James with better APG, everyone except Johnson with better TOPG.
Literally the only area he is “better” in is PPG, and that’s because he takes 4 more shots a game than anyone on our roster.
And that’s not even mentioning he would have the worst DBPM of any guard on our roster...so offensively he’s not the best that’s clear, and defensively he’s the worst, yet some of you want to say he’d be the best guard on this roster? GTFO
