Exactly, unless youre making 70% of your mid range they arent worth it. Much lower percentage then something at the rim, but less points then a 3 with an equal percentage.

That’s just too simplistic. Imo There are definitely still good mid range shots. But I 100% agree if the shots, defensive pressure wise are the same, take the 3.
