I admit, I did not think we had any chance to win that game. We did.

We have so many issues though. We won, but it's not a good sign for the rest of the season if we don't get more from Chandler and find some consistency on offense.

Just going to hope Chandler has covid legs. The fatigue is lasting and real for some.

Can Barnes shoot for them? Just checking. Cause last I checked you can have any offensive scheme you like and it won’t do any good unless the players make shots. Sometimes this team just doesn’t shoot well. Don’t know what the reason is but they get in spells where they can’t hit the ocean if they are standing on the pier. Just glad they finally got something going before it was too late. Bottom line is win and move on.

This is why I'm not excpecting any kind of championship with this team. We'll make the NCAAT but I'm not expecting us to seriously compete for the SECC. Still having games where the offense starts off so badly is just baffling to me, and for that reason is why I'm not that optimistic. A team like Auburn will boat race us.

It's his players man. This happens way too much. So either he recruited a bunch of crappy streaky shooters or it's him. Either way, the buck is supposed to stop with him.

For fun during the second half I Googled "Rick Barnes teams play scared" and got a whole lot of Texas sports articles about his teams playing tighter over the course of this or that season and losing their ability to score in league play. Just ... uh ... yeah. Just gonna put that here and whistle past the graveyard, so to speak. I'm not advocating for a change, just kind of wish Tennessee could break that trend.

I like ZZ as a defender and ball handler. But him dribbling into the paint with giants and no where to go needs to stop a little. He can get around his defender and then pass it. But not from under the basket. Did that several Times tonight. His defense was tenacious though

You guys are freaking out too much....Ole Miss is a good defensive team and happened to shoot 50% from 3 and had a guy score a career high. We still won regardless of that.
