Pippen's immaturity is obvious when he makes a mistake. He always goes for the swipe at the ball from behind to recover possession. Just an obvious sign of a lack of composure.

I was surprised the refs broke the Pippen Protection Program rules and called it.

Totally disagree with your comment. Vol fans appreciate him and he is loved by every Vol fan! What do you think happens at Duke, unc, KY, Kansas etc when a five star doesn’t play up to us potential? The point guard is the WB of basketball.
KC has numerous skills but shooting isn’t one of them. He is good in transition and will be able to dribble penetrate in the NBA with more spacing.

Disagree all you want. I never said ALL Vol fans don't appreciate him. Comments like "he sucks 50% of the time" and saying "he hasn't live up to the billing" just show not only a lack of basketball knowledge, but a lack of emotional maturity, and disproportionate expectations to believe a freshman PG is going to be perfect at this level. You have to accept the growing pains and not forget all the good he brings when he makes a mistake. Far too many of the emotional midgets in this these game threads constantly dogging him can't grasp that.

Pippen isn’t as difficult to guard whenever the game is called correctly and he doesn’t get all those free throws.

James went 9-10 though, also ended up with a double double!

The refs took Santi out of rhythm with all the fouls. If Powell can start hitting his shots we’ll be a really nasty team. KC had a bit of an off night, but Fulky picked up the slack.

Weird game. I’ll take the win anyway we can get it. ZZ is a stud. JJ shot horribly but did everything else very well. Fulky played better than he has in quite some time. Foul trouble created odd lineups and we missed some easy shots. I think we will play well against Kentucky at home but we need more from our frontcourt to beat them.

Important win in a bad spot in the schedule. As badly as KC and JJJ were on offense, KC and SV benched with foul trouble, refs, Pippin effect, we still won. Great game for ZZ and Fulk. Let’s beat the litter turds.
