Last post about Saturday...sitting in the stands in a game we had control of from the outset, I began to wonder...

Everyone, talking heads in particular, said we got hosed and had the toughest regional, right?

Where are they now?

Fantastic team win last night! Our guys absolutely lit up Liberty’s starting pitcher. Good to get a comfortable early lead.

On to the regional finals tonight!

One more game until the Supers.

A funny note about the presser after yesterday's win. Coach Vitello, Liam Spence, and Luc Lipscius. The format is open, so questions can be addressed to anyone on the panel; i.e. they don't take turns. Near the end, a question was addressed to Liam. Vitello answered it though--thinking the question was for him. Liam politely sat there. Then the presser was ending and Vitello took a jab at the players, saying "You guys got off the hook and didn't have to answer any questions." You probably had to see it. Vitello is just so amped up after games he can hardly stop talking.

Thanks for another update. The weather channel didn't have the day of the week posted showing rain.
I hope we can get the game played today ..... worry about rain coming another day. GBO !!!

I'm staying off topic again. Did y'all see this piece of work? Did Drew Gilbert’s grand slam celebration cross the line? It’s a fair question

That whole crap piece is fabricated. I watched Drew at least 20 times. He glances for less than a second in the direction of their dugout and I think he was actually looking at Spence coming home from 3rd. Then his eyes go immediately to our guys running from the dugout. The bat toss may not have been such a good idea but whatever. This idiot says "I saw [Drew] take 5 slow steps, pause and turn to face Wright State’s dugout and then take 4 more backward while staring them down. If he were a football player, he would have been flagged for unsportsmanlike behavior."

So stupid. Rant over.
