Not sure who you are, but I’ve read several of your posts and I like you. You’re a positive person … and apparently not even a TN fan.

Yeah, I joined during the SEC tournament to talk baseball for our matchup. Had visited the site when we played our series to read some perspective, but I didn’t join.

I’m an Arkansas fan in Arkansas. I enjoy most sports, but I’m a baseball fan before anything else. I just love the game.

I, like many others, decided our two teams would eventually end up on a collision course in Omaha (and the seeding shored that up.) I’ve been exhausted by the Vandy slobber fest all season, and I’m glad you guys emerged the supreme team from Tennessee.

I wish nothing more than for both of us to make our way through regionals and supers and give college fans a really good finals matchup. I think it’s pretty even.

Starting pitching - TN
Relief pitching - Ark
Defense - Ark (slight edge)
Hitting - TN (slight edge, less power, but more consistent xbh and averages)

I never come to boards to troll. I just like talking sports with level-headed fans. When I run into those that are hard to deal with, I’m typically thankful for an ignore function!

It was a magical win. That pitch was so soft. I don’t understand what he was trying to throw. I understand hanging curve theory but they tend to be faster and flatter and just don’t snap off at the end. That pitch looked like something I see in my slow pitch softball league.

sorry to disagree but that was the most wicked curve ball ever thrown, probably enough to make him a first round pick......at least that will be the story to his grand kids if we make it to Omaha

I think I've watched the replay about 40 times now from about 10 different angles. I don't think it will ever get old. Such a great win!
