The Official 2014 Offseason Thread

His passing is good but when you are 7 foot tall you are not suppose to handle the ball like a point and pass like a point kd does where lebron has the pass but no handle

Go watch Cleveland LeBron in 2008-2010 years and tell me he can't handle the ball.

Have any of you guys tried ballstreams? Feels like it may be a trick to get me to watch a bunch of dudes fondle their junk so I haven't even googled it.

But if it's real, a ton of people recommend it.

Well he has a handle but kd has a more tight one in my opinion,it's rare you see lebron drop somebody with a double cross

Lebron got 662 dunks and layups last year.

KD had 445, but shoots significantly more than Lebron.

If KD had the handle Lebron had, he'd be getting to the hoop more.

KD doesn't have the size to attack the rim the way LeBron does. It that were such a big part of his game, he'd be right on track to end up broken down and used up around the time he turns 30, much like D Wade.

The only thing lebron has Is body build take that away and what do you have ? A average player

I'm pretty sure he's bigger than Westbrook, and Russ had 523 layups and dunks his last full season.

BTW, Wade didn't attack the basket that much until he got old and wise. In his physical prime he was getting to the hoop 300-350 times...it wasn't until the last 5 years or so that he made it a priority.

It's rare that you see anyone drop somebody with a double cross. It's also rare that I see LBJ dribble too wide and fall down, which I've seen KD do. KD has a solid handle, PG level it is not.

In all fairness thats more conducive to their style of play. KD wants to shoot jumpers, Russ is attack mode constantly.

I get that, but what I care about is the result. KD may want to shoot jumpers all day, but he shoots 79% at the rim. If he can get to the rim more, he should do it.

I'm not saying I disagree, at 6'10 240 he should attack more, but he tends to get pushed around a little Actually he really needs to add a post up game for when he's being guarded by guys 5 inches shorter than him.

LeBron could be 6'2/200 and still be the best player in the league.

I don't think so. His size is one of his best assets in making him the all around player he is.

He is the size that he is, so for the purposes of discussing Lebron vs Durant, we shouldn't consider that alternative universe.

His size is definitely a factor in him being as great as he is. At first I was going to totally dismiss this, but at 6'2 200 he would be a smarter more in control D. Rose/Russ so you're probably not too far off.
