The Official 2014 Offseason Thread

I was with you in cheering over Auburn. SEC SEC SEC...F that.

If you actually lived out west (where all the teams you root for are) rooting for SEC would be a lot more appealing. I will never root for Bama or Florida, but I like LSU and Auburn to do well. It's fun watching them beat up on the rest of the country when all you ever hear is about how ASU, Texas, Utah, USC, etc. are so good.

I don't think I even know an Auburn fan.

You are probably right, and I really should be on the West coast. Lol I just get tired of that being our rallying cry, "we suck but the SEC is awesome!" I know it's impossible, but I wouldn't care if ever other SEC team lost every game. I probably tolerate Georgia the most, cause I lived in Atlanta for awhile. I pull for UK against the rest of the SEC too. Surprise here but I love PAC 10/12 basketball, Arizona is my favorite non UT team, more so when Lute was there. I followed ASU when Harden was there.

JerJer Bonks, you must visit the Endzone and vote for Freak to proclaim me Dalai Lama.

Men don't wear jerseys

I can get on board with people wearing baseball and soccer jerseys as regular shirts, because they pretty much fit like shirts and have buttons (baseball) or a lot have collars (soccer). Football jerseys rarely fit well, and there's not a man alive who can pull off a basketball jersey while not on an actual basketball court.

I was just messing with Ben. I don't give a hoot what anyone else wears or what anyone thinks about what I wear.

It's just a topic that's been discussed on VN on a few occasions

If you think waiters can't play d then you are seriously delusional and if lebron is such a good defender and kd apparently "isn't good" explain 32 pts on Miami

Definitely don't judge anybody, but I've given up on jerseys, for the most part. I'm 32. Wouldn't stop me from adding a few throwback basketball jerseys to the wardrobe, though. The problem with basketball jerseys is they look stupid with sleeves underneath, IMO, but sleeveless means you can pretty much only wear them to a game, the gym, or the beach without looking like a total d-bag.

I just puked in my mouth.

Want my old Lebron Cavs jersey? You can have it. It's not an authentic one but it still cost like 50 bucks back in 2004 or whatever day he got drafted. I literally don't want it but I'm not wasteful enough to burn it. I suppose I could give it to goodwill. I just moved and have other stuff I really need to drop off there. But yeah, I only wore the jersey once. It's basically brand new.

Why in the world did you ever purchase a LeBron jersey in the first place?

Is it the screenprinted number and name or is it iron on?

What size is it?

I'd wear it to the gym. If it's iron-on, I'll trade you a jar of salsa from my garden (if it turns out good) for the jersey.

I'm 30. I wear baseball, hockey, and football jerseys(Redskins). I usually only wear them on gamedays though.

The only jerseys I've worn in the last 5 years are my 2 Braves jerseys (anonymous), my Colts Manning jersey (nice $120 jersey), and my #10 Vols jersey (authentic).

I'd probably get a new Manning jersey, but I kinda hate the way Broncos jerseys look (on the field they are cool, just not with jeans).

My Vols jersey doesn't quite fit right, so I don't wear it as much.

I liked him coming out of High School. I was always a Pacers fan but I even had Vincent St. Mary's stuff. I knew how good he was gonna be. I actually even liked him as a Cav. I respected him despite being a rival until he made a deal under the table with Pat Riley and lied to Cleveland and their fans. Then he pleasured himself on national television as he spurned his hometown team. I already hated him at that point and then the Pacers/Heat just made it even more disgusting. I did like him prior to being a sellout though.

Let me check.

I wouldn't want anything for it. It sits in my closet and does nothing.

Edit: Yeah, pretty sure it's just steam pressed. It's a large and it's reebok. It's just what NBA.com sold 2 minutes after he got drafted.

Yeah, but the effort of mailing it....to me going to the post office is a nightmare.

Haha.

I don't know, I don't usually go. I live in a smaller area though so It's a pretty trivial task. I just actually have to decide to go there. I don't know what postage cost though. I don't mind wasting a few bucks(as in like 5 bucks). I had someone send me a cube box that was like 6"x6"x6" and it cost them like 30 bucks though so I don't know.

I've worn my Vols authentic jersey a handful of times(#27). I wear my baseball(Riverdogs and Jeter's 1st WBC) and hockey(Preds, Aces) relatively often during the seasons. I'll rock a Redskins(Theismann or RG3 alternate) jersey if I go out to watch the game at B-dubs or something.
