France vs Belgium will be like Brazil vs Belgium. Both attack! Fun Futbol. England dropped their boring style and joined attackers also. Croatia was stumped by a plodding Russia side. This semi will be wide open and fast.

So will the final! I’m hoping for Belgium vs England also.

That is EXACTLY what I tell everyone. Italy is the worst followed by the latin countries then of course the rest of your third world. I always say when you see someone fall in soccer and their hands go UP instead of down then its 100% a dive since natural instinct is to brace yourself during a fall.

I wouldnt say coming down to PK's is comfortable. Croatia was 110% gassed at the end. Croatia, in my opinion, should be dismantling teams with their talent but there just seems to be this lack of something holding them back.

I wouldn’t say they are talented enough to be dismantling teams left and right. But they are talented enough to beat Russia and Denmark to get here and that’s what they did.

Not even all Latin countries.

Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia are the worst, the Central American countries get bad against the US in things like the Gold Cup, but nothing like the three I mentioned first.

I know they haven't been this far since 1990, but based on the draw they got, they are kind of supposed to be in the semis. They simply are a much better team than Sweden. Their fans are going to come down hard if they lose.

England set piece play has been pretty awesome in my opinion. Every team should be worried on corners and free kicks near their own goal.

Yeah, but at the same time it is kind of worrisome that they rely so heavily on set pieces and chances coming from set pieces in order to score.

I actually have a small financial interest in England winning it all, so I'd love to see them do it. But when you look at the teams they've played to get here, it isn't exactly a Murderer's Row:

- Took a 91' goal from Kane to beat Tunisia
- Thrashed a bad Panama team
- Lost 1-0 to Belgium's B-team
- Beat Colombia on penalties, who didn't have their best player
- Beat a really average Sweden team

It'll get a lot harder in the semis and final (if they make it).

It should be noted that England also played their B team against Belgium.

I think Belgium is better but wanted to point that out.

They’re talented. But they’re not as loaded as Belgium or France in terms of talent. Modric is a superstar and they also have fantastic players around him. But Belgium is on a different level of loaded.
