Would like to see a Belgium vs England final. France has kicked it up a couple of notches in the knockout stage, that should be a really good match.
it's usually hard to get people to believe me when I tell them English, Germans, Americans and a few others dont flop and are very physical. It's the Latin countries and Italy that flop.
I wouldnt say coming down to PK's is comfortable. Croatia was 110% gassed at the end. Croatia, in my opinion, should be dismantling teams with their talent but there just seems to be this lack of something holding them back.

Best thing for this England team is that they already have the shootout monkey off their back. Based on the reaction of their fans, you'd think they already won the WC. I don't think those guys are feeling the expected amount of pressure at this point.
I know they haven't been this far since 1990, but based on the draw they got, they are kind of supposed to be in the semis. They simply are a much better team than Sweden. Their fans are going to come down hard if they lose.
England set piece play has been pretty awesome in my opinion. Every team should be worried on corners and free kicks near their own goal.
Yeah, but at the same time it is kind of worrisome that they rely so heavily on set pieces and chances coming from set pieces in order to score.
I actually have a small financial interest in England winning it all, so I'd love to see them do it. But when you look at the teams they've played to get here, it isn't exactly a Murderer's Row:
- Took a 91' goal from Kane to beat Tunisia
- Thrashed a bad Panama team
- Lost 1-0 to Belgium's B-team
- Beat Colombia on penalties, who didn't have their best player
- Beat a really average Sweden team
It'll get a lot harder in the semis and final (if they make it).
