Over the team’s three-day break, the CCL Showcase Game took place at the MLB Youth Academy with four Riptideplayers making appearances. Kyle Booker (Tennessee) made a case as the top performer of the day as the only member of either the North or Southteams to log more than one RBI. Booker became one of two North/South hitters with multiple hits and the only South all-star to start and finish the game. Booker also logged a 2-for-4 night with a pair of RBI that came on a double.

Booker looks to be a nice replacement for Spence's consistent bat.

The MLB draft League is new this year, the idea behind it is great. The stream is good Ortega is playing SS, batting 4th.

First time I have seen that, or heard, the SS and 2B both with E’s on the same play…next AB 3B commits 1, lol.

I think he is doing a great job!!! He definitely keeps it interesting with stats and he obviously is privy to the Coach’s thoughts on how players can improve. I have listened to a lot of these over the years, considering he’s both the play by play guy and the color analyst, I think he’s doing great!
