6:30 tonight, Harwich goes to Bourne who leads the entire Cape at 21-3, 9-1 in their last 10 games.

All I got tonight, back to the grind….

In most of these leagues we’re coming down to the last week or two depending on play off scenarios.

Good write-up on Booker on D1 Baseball's Review of the California league........

  • One of the toolsiest hitters at the event was OC Riptide outfielder Kyle Booker. The Tennessee freshman, who hit .310, 1, 10 in 58 at-bats this spring, showed quick hands and good bat speed during batting practice. The lefty wraps the bat around his neck and jumps at the ball, which may make him susceptible against good offspeed offerings, but when he gets his front foot down he can stroke it. Booker was hitless in his first two at-bats, but he helped the South team break the game open in the sixth inning. Booker worked the count full in a left-on-left matchup and then shot a rocket two-run double inside the third base bag. He added a single on a broken-bat liner that hit off the glove of a leaping second baseman. Booker showed a strong arm in right field, holding a runner from tagging up from second on a medium-depth fly out with a bolt right to the cutoff man. He also ran a 4.29 to first base.

I like to hear that he has a good enough arm to play RF. That also means he has a good enough arm to play center field, so that gives CTV a lot of options.

Man, I'm really excited to see what Booker brings to the team this year. I really hope he gets enough playing time to where he doesn't get frustrated and want to transfer. Really think he has a high ceiling.

I think that both of Beck’s HRs for Harwich have come in games he didn’t start 🤔. Mariners down 10-1 though.
